Clogged gutters are more than just an inconvenience, they can be a danger to your home!

When gutters do not drain properly, the water that should be carried away in your gutters finds and alternate route.

What this usually means is that your gutters overflow, forcing the water to flow over the surfaces the gutters were meant to protect. Left unresolved clogged gutters can lead to mold, mildew, wood rot and premature erosion and oxidation of vinyl and metal surfaces.

Capital Service Group offers gutter cleaning services to our commercial cleaning clients as well as residential property management companies, landlords, concierge services and home owners.

Does having gutter guards mean that you are in the clear and no longer need to have your gutters cleaned?

Not necessarily.

Depending on the type of gutter guards installed, as well as the density, type and proximity of trees on your property you may still need to have your gutters cleaned.

While most gutter guards will keep leaves and pine straw out of gutters, they can not stop the fallen foliage from collecting along the roof line thus slowing and diverting water from entering the gutters.

We recommend that you do a ground level inspection of your gutters every six months. If during the inspection you see any debris collecting along the roofline or protruding from the gutter guards give us a call for a free onsite evaluation.
