Janitorial & Porter Services
Commercial cleaning needs can vary greatly from facility to facility. Whether you need once per week cleaning services or 24 hour coverage depends largely on what type of business you are in, how many people are in and out of the facility on a daily basis and how many shifts you are running. Whatever your needs may be, we have you covered.
So what is the difference between janitorial services and porter services?
Janitorial services are cleaning services that are typically performed after hours, when your staff has cleared out for the day and we can get in there with free access to get things clean and tidy before you get back to work.
Porter services are typically performed during the hours that you team is hard at work.
Another difference between porter services and janitorial services is that janitorial services are well defined in the cleaning contract. The specifications are spelled out in black and white and those are the services that will be performed at the frequency set out in the agreement.
Porter services are also well defined in the cleaning contract but typically there is some time left open to take care of any requests that you may have during the work day.
A porter will often perform duties that commercial cleaning staff do not. Some of these duties may include, plunging clogged toilets, exterior window cleaning, changing lightbulbs, and just about any other small task that can be performed in fifteen to twenty minutes.
